Job summary

Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) seeks an experienced Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion to lead the EDI programme across the organisation. You will report to the Deputy Director of People and provide strategic guidance to the Board and senior leaders, ensuring statutory duties are met and meaningful change delivered.

You will drive key initiatives such as the Equality Delivery System, Workforce Race Equality Standard and Workforce Disability Equality

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent experience in EDI.
• Experience leading EDI programmes and influencing at senior level.
• Ability to engage diverse audiences and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) agenda across the Trust.

Job description

Are you a passionate and influential leader with the drive to create a truly inclusive workplace and reduce inequalities for staff, patients and communities?

We are looking for an experienced Head of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion to lead our EDI agenda across the Trust. Reporting to the Deputy Director of People, you will provide strategic leadership, expert advice and assurance to the Trust Board, Executive Team and senior leaders, ensuring we meet our statutory responsibilities and deliver meaningful change.

This is a unique opportunity to shape and embed an inclusive culture, lead delivery of key programmes including the Equality Delivery System, Workforce Race Equality Standard and Workforce Disability Equality Standard, and work collaboratively with staff networks, trade unions, community groups and system partners.

We are seeking someone with significant experience of leading EDI programmes, influencing at senior level, interpreting equality legislation and delivering measurable improvements in inclusion, workforce experience and organisational culture. You will be an excellent communicator, able to engage diverse audiences, challenge constructively and inspire positive change.

Applicants should hold a master's degree or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience working within EDI.
