Mindful Chef is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to lead their brand and customer growth strategy. The role involves overseeing a talented marketing team and executing a high-growth marketing strategy across multiple channels. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brand strategy and performance marketing, with a passion for purpose-led brands.

We're seeking a growth-oriented Chief Marketing Officer to lead our next chapter of brand and customer expansion.
This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for owning customer growth and brand strategy. The CMO will define and execute an ambitious marketing vision that strengthens our position as a category leader in healthy, premium recipes. They will own the brand, champion our customer and be responsible for the performance of acquisition and retention. They will work across brand, data and performance to step-change brand equity & awareness, growth in customer volume and LTV.
You’ll lead a talented marketing team of 16 (3 direct reports), and collaborate closely with product, commercial and data teams to deliver growth across the entire funnel, from first click to loyal customer.
Own and execute a high-growth marketing strategy focused on customer acquisition and improved CPAs
Oversee all growth marketing channels ATL and BTL (digital, offline, partnerships, affiliates, influencer, TV), ensuring efficient channel mix, CPA control and scalable performance
Set and own the marketing vision, strategy, and roadmap with a focus on growth and long-term brand awareness
Lead the development of customer segmentation, lifecycle journeys, and personalised retention strategies
Drive all performance marketing activity across digital and offline channels to optimise CPAs and ROI
Lead brand strategy, creative development and and brand content to drive national brand awareness deepen brand affinity
Build and mentor a high-performing marketing team, nurturing future leaders and a culture of accountability
Partner with Product and Data to ensure a seamless customer experience from first touchpoint to long-term loyalty
Monitor and analyse key KPIs to drive insight-led decision-making and continuous improvement
Represent the voice of the customer at the leadership level, influencing company-wide strategy
Proven experience in a senior marketing leadership role, ideally in DTC or consumer subscription models
Track record of delivering growth through both brand and performance marketing
Strong experience in brand strategy, owning how the brand is represented visually and tonally across the full funnel and across ATL and BTL channels
Strong analytical mindset with experience in customer segmentation, CLV modelling, and test-and-learn culture
Inspirational team leader with experience scaling high-performing teams across functions
Passionate about purpose-led brands, with a personal alignment to healthy, sustainable living
Data-literate, commercially astute, and comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels
