Job summary

DP World seeks a Chief Commercial Officer for Freight to drive pricing and revenue management across P&O Ferries. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop capacity strategies, and push for revenue growth in a multinational, complex B2B environment from the UK base in Woking.

You will build a robust VAS catalogue, guide key accounts, and transform freight sales with data-driven segmentation while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead pricing and revenue management strategy for Freight to drive revenue and margin growth.
• Develop capacity management strategies with the Director of Port Operations to optimise profitability.
• Maintain and develop key customer and supplier relationships.
• Lead Freight-focused transformation projects as SRO within the transformation programme.
• Develop Freight Sales Team with data-driven customer segmentation and key account management.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing, multicultural team.
• Redesign the sales coverage model and internalise agent reviews.
• Establish a structured customer engagement programme to drive new business.
• Launch a standardised catalogue of freight value-added services (VAS).
• Partner with operations to ensure VAS delivery at service standards.
• Contribute to company strategy and ensure regulatory compliance on safety matters.
