KeyResponsibilities
- Partner with the CEO andexecutive team to develop and implement financial strategies thatdrive brand-focused, sustainable long-term growth.
- Serve as astrategic adviser to the CEO and executive leadership, offeringinsight and recommendations on long-term financial and businessplanning.
- Make high-quality contributions to the strategicplanning process and actively participate in quarterly Board meetings.
- Provide strategic leadership to the finance function acrossall areas of financial management, including treasury, financialplanning and analysis, and financial control.
- Lead thepreparation and management of financial planning, budgeting, andbusiness planning processes.
- Drive the development ofefficient budget proposals, ensure timely access to financial data,and uphold contract compliance.
- Evaluate revenue and marginenhancement opportunities, analyse internal operations, and identifyopportunities for cost optimisation and process improvements.
- Lead the redesign and implementation of management reportingtools that enhance visibility into product, channel, and operationalcost performance.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensurefinancial discipline across departments and alignment with corporategoals.
- Ensure finance effectively supports businessobjectives and integrates operational insights into financialforecasting and reporting processes.
- Review and approvebusiness plans, budgets, and resource allocations to support theachievement of the company’s financial and strategic targets.
- Actively monitor the business’s financial performance againstagreed KPIs, holding the executive team accountable for delivery.
- Oversee enterprise risk management, with a focus onliquidity, capital structure, credit, and multi-currency foreignexchange risks.
- Ensure strong financial governance, internalcontrols, and compliance with all relevant regulatory, audit, andreporting requirements.
- Foster and sustain strongrelationships with external stakeholders, including investors,auditors, and regulatory authorities.
- Lead and develop ahigh-performing finance team, promoting a culture of accountability,collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Person Specification
- Bachelor’sdegree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field ispreferred.
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA, MBA or equivalent.
- Proven experience as CFO in a growth-oriented companyundergoing transformation.
- Strong understanding ofinternational finance and tax structures, with hands-on experienceoperating across the UK, US, and Asia-Pacific regions.
- Extensive experience in financial planning, analysis, andbudgeting, with a track record of providing strategic support inbusiness planning and delivering Board-level financial reporting.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the abilityto communicate complex financial concepts clearly to both technicaland non-technical audiences.
- Strong decision-making skills inrelation to budgeting and resource allocation.
- Proven abilityto lead high-performing teams and drive organisational change.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholderengagement skills.
