Job summary

NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Principal Finance Manager to lead the development of financial services and systems across the organisation. The role involves collaborating with finance staff, the Scottish Government and other Boards to implement best practice and maximise value from technology.

You will line manage the accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury and fixed assets teams, develop governance frameworks, and support the ERP implementation at Board level.

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level or equivalent with significant financial experience at senior level within a large complex organisation.
• Board level financial modelling, scenario planning and analysis to present monthly and year-end positions.
• Forecasting at divisional level for future years and HSCP strategic plans; CCAB/CIMA or overseas equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of financial services and financial systems across divisions and external partners.
• Line manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, ledgers and fixed assets support functions.
• Develop governance frameworks and standard operating procedures for financial control and reporting.
• Support ERP/system project design and implementation at Board level.
