Job summary

Kingston and Richmond NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Senior Pharmacy Technician to join the Pharmacy Digital and Informatics Team as Chief Technician, ePMA. The role focuses on maintaining and optimising the EPMA system to improve prescribing and patient safety.

You’ll train staff, work with multidisciplinary teams, and help design system changes, with opportunities to develop specialist ePMA skills while retaining dispensary experience.

Qualifications

• Experience as a senior pharmacy technician with a focus on digital health and EPMA.
• Ability to train and support multidisciplinary staff on digital systems.
• Proven experience designing system changes to support safe prescribing.
• Collaborative approach with pharmacy and digital teams on projects and upgrades.
• Ability to develop prescribing protocols and decision support tools.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimise the Trust EPMA systems as part of Pharmacy Digital Team.
• Provide expert training and support to multidisciplinary staff using EPMA.
• Work with teams to design and implement system changes for safe prescribing.
• Collaborate on projects, upgrades, testing and configuration.
• Contribute to medication safety initiatives through design and QA activities.
