Job summary

Epsom And St Helier University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Lead Pharmacist – ePMA and Clinical Informatics to shape the future of our digital prescribing systems across the group.

You will lead clinical IT programmes, manage ePMA catalogue updates, and develop policies for informatics in medicines optimisation, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines through innovative technology.

Qualifications

• Masters in Pharmacy required and registered with GPhC.
• Experience leading or contributing to e-prescribing or EPR implementations.
• Strong knowledge of clinical informatics in medicines optimisation.
• DBS check required for roles with safeguarding responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and management of clinical IT programmes focused on medicines optimisation.
• Lead installation, configuration and testing of regular pharmacy catalogue updates for new medicines.
• Lead policy development for Clinical Informatics in Medicines Optimisation.
• Quality assure IT software and systems relating to ePMA with audits and risk mitigation.
• Advise on IT and Clinical Informatics components of future pharmacy tech developments.
• Coordinate staff training to ensure competency in new IT systems.
