Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join the electronic prescribing and medicines administration (ePMA) team during digital transformation. You will work across pharmacy, clinical, digital and research colleagues to implement and maintain ePMA systems, and support safe medicines management for patients.

The role involves training staff, troubleshooting, and acting as an Accredited Checking Technician (ACPT) when needed, with potential weekend work as part of

Responsabilidades

Assist with implementation, maintenance and development of ePMA across Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust.
Support back-end processes: configuration, development and testing of the Trust’s current or future ePMA systems.
Train and support all staff involved with the ePMA process. This includes pharmacy staff, prescribers, nurses and floorwalkers.
Convey and promote benefits of ePMA and ensure any implementation is carried out in an effective and safe manner.
Act as a champion user of the ePMA system, applying extensive knowledge and understanding of how the system works and the workflow staff need to follow to ensure safety.
Provide ePMA support services according to rota if necessary (including early, late, weekend working).
Support ePMA team and dispensary as an Accredited Checking Technician (ACPT).
