Job summary

EDF Trading Limited in London is seeking a Head of Data Platform to own the enterprise data strategy and provide trusted, governed data across the organisation. You will lead data product management, market data systems, and core data engineering while ensuring data quality and compliance.

You will build and mentor multidisciplinary teams, partner with trading, risk and finance functions, and drive a federated governance model to enable analytics and AI at scale.

Qualifications

• Senior leadership experience across enterprise data, data engineering, governance or analytics.
• Delivery of enterprise-scale data platforms and operating models in complex organisations.
• Experience with market, trade, risk, finance or regulatory data.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the enterprise data strategy and multi-year roadmap.
• Lead data product management, market data systems and data engineering.
• Establish data ownership, quality requirements and lifecycle plans.
• Oversee metadata, lineage, data quality, access controls and privacy.
• Collaborate with trading, operations and finance to create reusable data products.
• Own market data capability, including governance and vendor strategy.
• Provide data enablement for data science and AI with trusted data.
