Qualifications

• Experience leading large engineering organisations through growth and change.
• Experience introducing AI-assisted engineering practices, automation and AI-enabled software delivery.
• Strong understanding of quality engineering, test automation and lifecycle integration.
• Proven ability to build high-performing teams focused on excellence and accountability.
• Ability to align engineering outcomes with business strategy and customer needs.
• Knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps, cloud technologies, automation, CI/CD and secure software development.
• Experience improving developer productivity through platform engineering and self-service tooling.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned to business, technology and product priorities.
• Establish the engineering operating model, including team structures and ways of working.
• Provide technical leadership and governance to ensure fast, high-quality delivery.
• Lead platform engineering, developer tooling, automation and self-service capabilities.
• Embed security and quality throughout the software lifecycle with automated controls.
• Drive modern software engineering practices and AI-enabled delivery.
• Foster a culture of innovation, accountability and continuous improvement.
