Qualifications

• A degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Chartered Civil or Structural Engineer status, or equivalent with substantial experience.
• Senior-level experience in bridge or highway structures design and asset management.
• Knowledge of Eurocodes and risk-based decision making.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Hampshire's Structures team across highway structures.
• Act as Hampshire's senior technical authority for highway structures and approvals.
• Shape investment programmes balancing safety, resilience, sustainability and value.
• Drive asset management, inspection, design and maintenance strategies.
• Lead responses to significant structural events and mentor engineers.
• Develop engineers and support chartership and professional growth.
