Leonardo UK Ltd in Basildon seeks a Chief Engineer - Support to provide System Design Authority for in‑service products. You will lead design changes, sustainment, safety cases and customer support engagements across the Sensors portfolio.

You will guide project teams, manage technical risk, and ensure compliance with lifecycle management processes while collaborating with external stakeholders and internal LOBs.

Formación

• Strong background in support and sustainment of complex products.
• Experience with post-design support activities and engineering change management.
• Experience leading design reviews and governance boards.
• Experience engaging with customers and end-users to resolve issues.

Responsabilidades

• Be the Design Authority and technical signatory for in-service products.
• Lead post-design support activities and governance for changes.
• Own product integrity, safety, and configuration control throughout the lifecycle.
• Chair design reviews and ensure lifecycle management compliance.
• Support customer reviews, investigations and deployments.
• Lead obsolescence and technology refresh assessments.
• Manage corrective actions for field issues and non-conformances.
