Job summary

The Head of Compliance, Compliance Oversight & Money Laundering Reporting Officer at Mphasis UK Ltd will provide independent oversight of the firm's regulatory compliance and AML/CTF controls, including Consumer Duty, SMF16 and SMF17 (subject to FCA approval).

You will lead the second-line compliance function, oversee outsourced activities, advise the Board, monitor regulatory developments, and champion a culture of integrity and regulatory awareness across the business in Watford.

Qualifications

• Significant FCA-regulated financial services experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm's Compliance and Financial Crime function with independent oversight.
• Act as SMF16 (Compliance Oversight) and SMF17 (MLRO) subject to FCA approval.
• Develop, implement and maintain a robust compliance framework.
• Design and deliver a risk-based Compliance Monitoring Programme.
• Oversee AML, CTF, sanctions and financial crime controls including CDD and SARs.
• Act as MLRO for internal disclosures to authorities as appropriate.
• Monitor FCA rule changes and advise the Board on regulatory developments.
• Provide board-ready regulatory reporting and challenge to senior management.
• Promote a culture of compliance and regulatory awareness across the organisation.
