Job summary

Munich Re Specialty – Global Markets is seeking a Head of AI to own the AI strategy for the Global Markets unit and drive it into production. You will set the strategic direction for AI usage, prioritise use cases, and ensure responsible governance while partnering with Enablement, Analytics, underwriting, pricing, and CIO functions to implement scalable AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience setting and delivering an AI strategy in a commercial setting.
• Experience applying AI to front-office decision-making and to change/operations.
• Strong grasp of MLOps, evaluation and monitoring, and responsible-AI practice.

Responsibilities

• Own AI strategy and roadmap.
• Identify, size and prioritise AI use cases across underwriting, pricing, and operations.
• Move the roadmap from concept to production as the function matures.
• Own responsible-AI governance and data lineage.
• Build AI capability and literacy across the organisation.
• Establish repeatable delivery patterns and governance.
