Sciensus in Cardiff, South Wales, is seeking a Specialist Chemotherapy Nurse to join our Clinical Operations team. You will deliver high-quality oncology care across hospital, community and homecare settings, combining direct patient care with education and leadership.

You will travel within a regional area with a UK driving licence, recording data, mentoring clinicians, and supporting treatment pathways while maintaining patient-centred care and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) with Part 1 NMC registration.
• Experience delivering chemotherapy treatments and managing oncology medications.
• Strong clinical assessment, IV cannulation and phlebotomy skills.
• Ability to mentor colleagues and support clinical education.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality oncology care across hospital, community and homecare settings.
• Record clinical data and report adverse drug events per protocol.
• Provide patient education and support to patients, carers and stakeholders.

Chemotherapy Nurse, Cardiff, South Wales, United Kingdom

We're looking for a Specialist Chemotherapy Nurse to join our Clinical Operations team within Wales, delivering high-quality oncology care and education across hospital, community and homecare settings.

This is a unique role that combines direct patient care with professional development and clinical leadership. You'll work closely with patients receiving oncology therapies while supporting and mentoring fellow clinicians to ensure the highest standards of practice.

Seeing between 1 - 8 patients per day, you will record all clinical data and document any adverse drug events via the correct protocol. Long lasting relationships will be built with patient's, carers and stakeholders to aide and support treatment and recovery.

A full UK driving licence is essential as you will travel throughout a regional area.

We're seeking an experienced and compassionate oncology professional who is committed to delivering outstanding patient care while helping others develop their clinical expertise.

• Registered General Nurse (RGN), Part 1 NMC Register.
• Recognised Chemotherapy Delivery/ SACT Qualification. -
• Significant experience administering oncology medications in a hospital or community setting.
• Experience delivering chemotherapy treatments.
• Clinical teaching, coaching or mentoring experience.
• Experience supporting competency development and clinical education.
• Strong clinical assessment skills.
• IV administration, cannulation and phlebotomy expertise.
• Ability to explain complex clinical information in a clear and patient-friendly way.
• Strong understanding of oncology therapies and patient pathways.
• Commitment to person-centred care and clinical excellence.
