Job summary

Leaders in Care is recruiting a Community Chemotherapy Nurse to cover North Somerset & Bristol. You will manage your own caseload delivering systemic anti-cancer therapy at patients' homes, Monday to Friday, with no nights or weekends.

We offer up to £44,500 plus a company car or £4,887.50 car allowance, private medical insurance, pension, life assurance, and structured induction with clinical development. You must be an experienced nurse with NMC registration and driving licence.

Qualifications

• Active NMC registration (Adult Nurse/RGN).
• Experience delivering chemotherapy or SACT.
• Competency in cytotoxic drug administration.
• Strong cannulation and venous access skills.
• Excellent communication and clinical assessment.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Delivering SACT and chemotherapy in patients' homes.
• Administering oncology treatments safely per guidelines.
• Completing holistic clinical assessments before each treatment.
• Cannulation, venepuncture and venous access management.
• Monitoring patients and responding to adverse reactions.

The Role

As a Community Chemotherapy Nurse, you'll manage your own caseload across North Somerset & Bristol, providing safe, high-quality treatment while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivering systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) and chemotherapy treatments within patients' homes
• Administering oncology and haematology treatments safely and in line with national guidelines
• Completing holistic clinical assessments before every treatment
• Cannulation, venepuncture and vascular access management
• Monitoring patients throughout treatment and responding appropriately to any adverse reactions

  You’ll be a confident, compassionate clinician who enjoys working autonomously while always putting patient care first.
