Job summary

Academics are seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Telford to teach KS3 and KS4, with a focus on Chemistry.

You will plan and deliver engaging science lessons, covering Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and create an inclusive learning environment. You will assess progress, prepare students for GCSEs, differentiate for all learners, and maintain high safeguarding standards.

Qualifications

• QTS/PGCE or NQT status required.
• Enhanced DBS required.
• Experience teaching KS3/KS4.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
• Teach Biology, Chemistry and Physics as part of the science curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Assess, monitor and report student progress.
• Prepare students for GCSE Combined Science and Separate Science exams where applicable.
• Differentiate learning to meet all learners' needs.
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies.
• Deliver practical lessons safely and collaborate with colleagues/parents.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics as part of the secondary Science curriculum
