Job summary

Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Chemistry Teacher for a maternity cover in Lancaster. You will deliver engaging Chemistry lessons across KS3 and KS4, assess student progress, and contribute to a supportive Science department.

The ideal candidate holds QTS or equivalent, has proven KS3/KS4 Chemistry experience, and demonstrates strong classroom management and communication skills to raise standards and support student outcomes.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Proven experience teaching Chemistry at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.

The Role

As a Chemistry Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students to develop their scientific knowledge and curiosity. • Be committed to raising standards and achieving excellent outcomes for students.
