KM Education Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Chef Trainer/Assessor (Trainee or Qualified) for a home/field based role with travel across the East Midlands. Starting salary £29,000, progressing to £30,000 plus bonus. Benefits include mileage expenses, great holiday entitlement and a pension.

This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid delivery including online and face-to-face training. You will train and assess apprentices, support learners with Functional Skills, and manage your diary to

Qualifications

• Must have experience of working as Head Chef or Sous Chef.
• Experience of cooking from scratch.
• Happy and confident to support learners with Functional Skills.
• Excellent communicator with a learner and quality focus.
• Organisational skills and ability to plan time effectively.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Flexible with travel across the Midlands.

• This hybrid role includes online delivery, on-site visits and workshop/classroom training.

• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners and overcome barriers.

Location: Home/Field based - Must be flexible with travel across the East Midlands and surrounding areas

Starting salary: £29,000 - progressing to £30,000 + BONUS

Duties include:

• Train, assess and deliver Chef/Senior Culinary Apprenticeship Qualifications up to Level 4.


• This is a hybrid role and will include online delivery, face to face employer site visits and workshop/classroom-based Chef training.


• Support learners to achieve Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.


• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.


• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.


• Support, advise and motivate learners.


• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.

Essential Criteria:
