KM Recruitment is seeking a Chef Trainer/Assessor (Trainee or Qualified) for home/field based work with travel across the West Midlands. The role combines online delivery, employer site visits and classroom chef training, with diary management and learner support.

The ideal candidate has a Chef/Head Chef or Sous Chef background and can help learners achieve Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2. Salary £29,000–£30,000 with bonus.

Location:Home/Field based – Must be flexible with travel across the West Midlands

Starting salary:£29,000 – progressing to £30,000 + BONUS

Duties include:

• Train, assess and deliver Chef/Senior Culinary Apprenticeship Qualifications up to Level 4.
• This is a hybrid role and will include online delivery, face to face employer site visits and workshop/classroom-based Chef training.
• Support learners to achieve Functional SkillsMaths and English tolevel 2.
• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners’ progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learners needs.

Essential Criteria:

• Must have experience ofworking as Head Chef or Sous Chef.
• Experience of cooking from scratch.
• Happy and confident to support learners with Functional Skills.
• Must be an excellent communicator who is learner and quality focussed.
• Organisational skills are a must, as well as the ability to plan your time effectively.
• Confident and professional with the ability to inspire and motivate people.
• Quality driven and prepared to go the extra mile for your learners.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Must be flexible with travel.

Salary: £29000 – £30000/annum
