Berkeley Scott is recruiting experienced Chef Managers and School Chefs for immediate agency work across Wiltshire. Roles include Chef Manager, School Chef, Catering Manager, Head Chef, and Sous Chef in schools, colleges and education catering sites.

Positions offer Monday to Friday daytime hours with flexible assignments and competitive hourly rates, along with weekly pay, holiday pay, pension and opportunities across Wiltshire and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef Manager, School Chef, Catering Manager, Head Chef or experienced Sous Chef.
• Experience within school catering, education, contract catering or high-volume catering is desirable.
• Enhanced DBS preferred, ideally registered on the Update Service.
• Food Safety Level 2 certificate.
• Food Allergen certificate.
• Reliable, professional and comfortable working across different catering environments.
• Available for immediate and upcoming agency assignments.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking fresh, nutritious meals within a school or education environment.
• Managing the day-to-day running of the kitchen and catering service.
• Leading and supporting kitchen and catering teams.
• Managing allergens, dietary requirements and special diets.
• Maintaining high standards of food safety, hygiene and HACCP compliance.
• Stock control, ordering and kitchen organisation.
• Ensuring consistently high standards of food quality and presentation.

Berkeley Scott is recruiting experienced Chef Managers and School Chefs for immediate agency work across Wiltshire. We have several opportunities available within schools, colleges and education catering sites and are looking for experienced Chef Managers, Catering Managers, Head Chefs and School Chefs who can confidently step into a busy kitchen environment.

This is t agency work, with immediate starts and a mixture of ongoing and flexible assignments available. Many of our school catering roles offer Monday to Friday, daytime hours, providing an excellent work-life balance alongside competitive hourly rates.
