Job summary

Berkeley Scott are seeking an experienced Chef Manager for agency opportunities across Solihull and surrounding areas. Roles include schools and contract catering sites with flexible shifts and ongoing bookings. Immediate starts for capable chefs, including Head Chef and Senior Chef candidates.

You'll run daily kitchen operations, lead the team, and ensure high standards of food safety and quality while coordinating with clients and teams on site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Chef Manager, Head Chef, Sous Chef or Senior Chef.
• Experience leading a kitchen team in contract catering or education settings.
• Food Safety Level 2 and allergen awareness required.

Responsibilities

• Run the day-to-day kitchen operation.
• Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality food.
• Lead and support the kitchen team.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and allergen standards.
• Manage stock and minimise food waste.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served on time.
• Work closely with the client and catering team.
