Job summary

Olive Dining Ltd is seeking a Chef Manager for a primary school in the region. The role runs Monday to Friday from 8am to 2:30pm, term time only (39 weeks). You will feed 400 children daily and lead a team of 6, coordinating meals, allergens, stock and orders while maintaining high kitchen standards.

Qualifications

• Hands-on approach to kitchen operations.
• Understanding of good food hygiene and health and safety.
• Sous chef or Chef Manager experience within education preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Feed 400 children a day.
• Lead and motivate a kitchen team of 6.
• Build rapport with children, staff and parents.
• Manage day-to-day kitchen tasks including allergens, stock and ordering.

The Role:

• Chef Manager - Primary School
• Monday to Friday
• 8am - 2:30pm
• Term time only ( 39 weeks )
• £14.17 per hour.

Job details:

• Chef Manager to core feed 400 children a day.
• Chef Manager to lead and motivate a team of 6
• Chef Manager to build rapport with children, staff and parents.
• Chef Manager to manage the day to day of the kitchen, including allergens, stock and ordering.

What You’ll Need:

• Hands on approach.
• Understanding of good food hygiene and health and safety.
• Sous chef or Chef Manager previous experience within education. (preferrednot essential )
