Job summary

Olive Dining Ltd is seeking a Chef Manager for a primary school. The role runs Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, term time (40 weeks) with a £26,500 annual salary and free meals on duty.

You will lead a team of four, ensure allergen controls and stock management, and create nutritious, appealing meals for students. The ideal candidate has hands-on kitchen experience, a strong understanding of food hygiene and health and safety, and enjoys working in education.

Qualifications

• Hands-on approach to kitchen tasks and leadership.
• Good food hygiene and health and safety knowledge.
• Strong communication with children, staff and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a kitchen team of four.
• Manage day-to-day kitchen operations: allergens, stock and orders.
• Prepare meals for 280 students daily in a school setting.
• Build rapport with children, staff and parents.

The Role:

• Chef Manager - Primary School

Job details:

• Chef Manager to core feed 280 students a day.
• Chef Manager to lead and motivate a team of 4.

What You’ll Need:
