Job summary

Olive Dining Ltd is seeking a Chef Manager for a primary school. The role is Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week, term time only (40 weeks).

Lead a team of 4, manage day-to-day kitchen tasks including allergens, stock and ordering, and ensure nutritious meals for around 200 students daily.

Salary is £15.00 per hour with free meals and family-friendly hours in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Hands-on approach
• Understanding of good food hygiene and health and safety
• Sous chef or Chef Manager experience in education (preferred, not essential)

Responsibilities

• Chef Manager to core feed 200 students a day.
• Lead and motivate a team of 4.
• Build rapport with children, staff and parents.
• Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, including allergens, stock and ordering.
