Job summary

Olive Dining Ltd is a school catering company delivering fresh, nutritious meals to students across London, Kent, Surrey and Essex. We’re seeking a Chef Manager to lead kitchens, feed about 500 children daily and manage a team of five.

Role runs Monday to Friday, 7am–3pm, term-time only (42 weeks). Salary £26,000. You’ll ensure allergens, stock and ordering are handled smoothly and maintain high food hygiene standards. Join a family-friendly, supportive team with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Hands-on approach to kitchen and food prep.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and health and safety standards.
• Experience as sous chef or chef manager in education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Feed around 500 children a day.
• Lead and motivate a team of five.
• Build rapport with children, staff and parents.
• Manage day-to-day kitchen operations, including allergens, stock and ordering.

What You’ll Need:
