Job description

At Gather & Gather, we are known as one of the UK & Ireland's most distinctive workplace catering experts. We are passionate about great food and coffee and putting our employees and customers at the heart of everything we do. We are currently recruiting for a Chef Manager to join us. This position is Monday - Friday.

Location: London

Rate of pay: £38,000 per annum + amazing benefits

Working pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7.30am to 3pm

Key responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage a small team of 4
2. Oversee and produce a fresh, on-trend breakfast and lunch offering
3. Develop and plan menus aligned with client and customer expectations
4. Be creative in menu planning, involving clients and customers
5. Ensure high standards of food quality and hygiene

Our Ideal Candidate:

1. Experience in quality fresh food operations
2. Strong financial skills to manage food costs and achieve healthy GP
3. A proactive, forward-thinking chef manager who leads by example
4. Computer literate and able to liaise effectively with clients
