Job summary

bartlett mitchell in Hemel Hempstead is seeking an experienced Chef Manager to lead the site kitchen, oversee day-to-day operations, and ensure high standards of food quality and service for the contract.

You will recruit, train and motivate the onsite team, manage the budget and GP targets, and report weekly on stock, menus and performance. The role demands strong planning, knowledge of contract catering, and commitment to support the client and customers daily.

Qualifications

• Ideally educated to City & Guilds 7061/7062, NVQ or equivalent.
• Food Safety Level 3 minimum and Health & Safety Level 2.
• Strong knowledge of Food Safety Management System requirements and COSHH.

Responsibilities

• Lead the running of the contract, liaise with the client to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Recruit, train and motivate your onsite team.
• Manage budget, weekly reports and stock counts; achieve GP and budgets.
