Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer for independent schools, invites applications for a Chef Manager at Sheffield High School for Girls. You will lead the kitchen team, deliver fresh, high-quality meals for pupils, staff and visitors, and ensure exceptional service.

You will oversee menu planning, stock control, budgets and compliance with food safety, health and safeguarding policies. The role requires passion for seasonal ingredients, strong leadership, and commitment to allergen controls

Qualificações

• Previous experience as Chef Manager or similar in contract catering, ideally independent education.
• Strong kitchen management and leadership skills.
• Passionate about fresh seasonal ingredients and balanced menus.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of food safety, allergen management, and sustainability.

Responsabilidades

• Lead kitchen operations ensuring the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
• Manage and support a small kitchen team, fostering a positive working environment.
• Oversee menu planning, stock control, and supplier relationships.
• Maintain accurate financial records including budgets, ordering, and stock rotation.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, health & safety, and safeguarding policies.
• Work collaboratively with the school community to provide a friendly and efficient catering experience.
• Accountability for following and championing allergen controls.
