Aramark UK is recruiting a Chef Manager to lead the team at Charles River Laboratories, Tranent. You will oversee culinary and operational management, ensuring high food standards, customer satisfaction and financial performance in a contract catering environment.

Role offers a Monday–Friday 6.30am–3.00pm schedule, 40 hours per week, with a potential annual bonus, free meals, and generous benefits. Experience in catering leadership and DBS clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef Manager, Head Chef, or Catering Manager.
• Ability to pass client security vetting and DBS checks.
• Proven leadership of catering teams in contract settings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and oversee production of high-quality meals.
• Develop seasonal menus meeting client requirements.
• Manage day-to-day catering operations and service delivery.
• Control food, beverage and labour costs to meet budgets.
• Produce weekly and monthly financial reports as required.
• Recruit, train, and develop catering staff.
