Job summary

Wren Kitchens in Scunthorpe is seeking an experienced Chef to join the busy kitchen at our state-of-the-art site. The role runs Monday to Friday, 05:45 - 14:15, with a salary of £31,000 plus a quarterly bonus up to £250.

You will bring creativity, expertise and a passion for delivering exceptional catering experiences to Wren Employees. You will handle food service, manage inventory, ensure ingredients are fresh, comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations, and maintain high safety

Qualifications

• Experience catering to a large volume at a high standard.
• Good cooking and communication skills.
• Ability to cover other staff due to holidays, sickness, etc.

Responsibilities

• Serving and handling of food in the canteen
• Manage inventory and ensure that all ingredients are fresh and available to use
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and maintaining the safety standards
• Foster a positive and professional environment, working seamlessly with co-workers and customers
• Maintain strict adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Keep the workstation tidy, including clearing down at the end of the shift, washing up and good observation of cleanliness
