Job summary

Anglian Water is hiring a Chef for Rutland Water. The role offers a salary of £35,000 per annum (depending on experience) with an annual performance bonus of up to 8%. There are no split shifts or late nights, and the setting is a stunning waterside location at Rutland Water.

You will help shape the catering offer, influence menus, and deliver outstanding service to thousands of visitors each year while maintaining high food safety standards and managing kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a fresh food environment.
• Strong food preparation and culinary skills.
• A passion for delivering excellent customer service.
• A positive, proactive and reliable approach.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
• CIEH Level 2 Food Hygiene in Catering (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Preparing and serving fresh, high-quality dishes.
• Maintaining excellent food safety, hygiene and kitchen standards.
• Managing stock ordering and control to reduce waste and maximise efficiency.
• Supporting the smooth day-to-day running of a busy kitchen.
