Job summary

Berry Recruitment is seeking a Chef de Partie to support the mobilisation of a school canteen in Greater London. You will assist in setting up the new kitchen, train staff, manage stock, prepare meals, and handle related paperwork. The role runs Monday to Friday with hours to be confirmed.

The ideal candidate will have a Full enhanced DBS, Food Hygiene and Food Allergen certificates, plus KSCI training (parts 1 & 2). This is a hands-on role within a school catering environment.

Qualifications

• DBS check (Full enhanced) required.
• Food Hygiene Certificate required.
• Food Allergen Certificate required.
• KSCI training parts 1 and 2 required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up a new kitchen.
• Train staff on procedures and standards.
• Conduct stock taking and inventory control.
• Prepare meals according to menu and safety standards.
• Handle paperwork related to kitchen operations.
