Description
About The Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering Butlins' food propositions. You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to recipes and brand standards. You will oversee and manage small teams of commis chefs, ensuring food safety policies are followed. You will be enrolled in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy to develop your skills and progress in your career.
You will deputise in the absence of the sous chef, manage daily operations in your section, and ensure efficiency and compliance with food safety regulations. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation and leading, training, and mentoring your team will be key responsibilities. You will also prepare and cook dishes as per recipes, complete daily food diaries, and control budget margins with support from senior staff.

You must have passed your Level 3 Food Safety qualification and be confident in leading a team in a fast-paced environment. Managing margins, controlling costs, and maintaining health and safety standards are also essential. Our chefs are passionate about creating memorable guest experiences, and we value team players who are keen, engaging, and dedicated to delivering excellent service.
Typical working hours are five days over seven, totaling 40 hours per week.
