About The Role
As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions. You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to set recipes and brand standards. You will oversee and manage small teams of commis chefs, ensuring the delivery of food in accordance with food safety policies. You will be enrolled in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy to develop your skills in a fun and educational environment, helping you progress to more senior roles.
In this role, you will deputise in the absence of the sous chef, manage daily operations in your section, and ensure efficiency and compliance with food safety policies. You will maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhere to health and safety regulations, and lead, train, and mentor commis chefs with guidance and support. You will also prepare and cook dishes according to pre-approved recipes, complete relevant daily food diaries, and support budget control with the Head Chef and Sous Chef.

Responsibilities also include managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards.
