About The Role

As a Chef de Partie, you will assist the Sous Chef & Head Chef in delivering the Butlins food propositions. You will be responsible for a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring the safe preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes according to recipe specifications and brand standards. You will oversee and manage small teams of commis chefs, ensuring food safety policies are followed. Enrolled in our award-winning Butlins Chef Academy, you'll enhance your skills in a fun, educational environment, progressing to more senior roles.

You will deputise in the absence of the sous chef, manage daily operations in your section, and ensure efficiency and compliance with food safety policies. Maintaining a clean and organized workstation, you will adhere to health and safety regulations, lead, train, and mentor commis chefs, and prepare dishes as per recipes. You will also manage daily food diaries and control budget margins with support from the Head and Sous Chefs.

Key Responsibilities

We seek individuals with experience at this level or those looking to advance. You should be hardworking, reliable, and proactive in improving team performance. Energetic, enthusiastic, and fun-loving candidates who understand their role's value in guest experience are ideal. A Level 3 Food Safety qualification and leadership confidence are required. You will also manage margins, costs, and ensure health, safety, and hygiene standards.
