Job summary

HR-CL Ltd in Oxford is seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join a private school kitchen. You will run your own section and help prepare fresh, high-quality meals for pupils and staff, with daytime hours and no evenings or weekends, contributing to a calm, orderly service.

You will support the Head Chef, work well in a busy, friendly team, and follow food hygiene, allergen and health and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie, or a strong Commis ready to step up.
• Good knowledge of food safety and allergens.
• Food hygiene certificate (Level 2 or above) preferred.
• Organised, reliable and able to work under pressure.
• Enhanced DBS certificate required.
• Daytime hours only, no weekends.
• No car required, as the school is easy to reach by public transport.
• Supportive team and training opportunities.
