Job summary

A leading sports club in Manchester is seeking a Chef de Partie for its Women’s 1st Team Facility. Qualifications

  • Experience working in a professional hospitality kitchen.
  • HACCP & Food Safety Level 3 certification is required.
  • Knowledge of nutrition and performance nutrition is beneficial.
  • HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety certification.
  • Experience with stock control and supplier interaction.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to varied situations.
  • Desirable: nutrition knowledge, performance-nutrition exposure, second language or elite-sport experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present dishes to meet nutrition and performance standards.
  • Maintain station and equipment for smooth service.
  • Support menu innovation and dish development.
  • Complete HACCP documentation and allergen logs.
  • Assist with stock control and monitor waste.
  • Uphold hygiene, safety and food quality standards.
  • Travel as required to provide consistent service for the team.
  • Continually improve techniques and practices.

Chef de Partie – Manchester City Women’s 1st Team Facility

To coincide with the expansion, we are looking to expand our catering team; as a Chef de Partie at Manchester City’s Women’s 1st Team Facility, you’ll play a hands‑on role in delivering high‑quality, nutrition‑aligned dishes that support elite player performance. This is a great opportunity for a skilled chef who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and wants to contribute to a world‑class performance setup.

Please be aware, we have both a full time and a part time opportunity available.

Your Impact
  • Prepare and present dishes to meet nutrition requirements and performance standards.
  • Maintain your station, equipment and smooth service at all times.
  • Support menu innovation and dish development alongside senior chefs.
  • Complete HACCP documentation, allergen logs and risk‑assessment tasks.
  • Assist with stock control, ordering and monitoring waste and spoilage.
  • Uphold high hygiene, safety and food‑quality standards.
  • Travel as required to provide consistent service for the team.
  • Continually improve techniques and working practices.
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience working in a professional hospitality kitchen.
  • Excellent communication, customer‑service and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of food trends and strong presentation skills.
  • HACCP & Food Safety Level 3 certified.
  • Experience supporting stock control and interacting with suppliers.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to varied situations.
  • Beneficial: Nutrition knowledge, experience with performance nutritionists, a second language or experience in elite sport.
