Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Chef de Partie at Ascot Grange Care Home in Sunninghill to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering a high-quality, nutritionally balanced menu for residents. You should hold a catering qualification (City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ or equivalent), a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate, and have at least 1 year of catering experience.

This full-time role is 40 hours per week, with a pay rate of £15.00–£16.00 per hour and DBS check plus eligibility to

Qualifications

• Hold a catering qualification such as City & Guilds 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ or equivalent.
• Hold Basic Food Hygiene Certificate.
• Have a minimum of 1 year catering experience.
• Demonstrate compassion and commitment to high-quality culinary services to residents.
• Be adaptable to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support culinary team to provide nutritionally balanced, high-quality meals.
• Attend meetings with residents and Heads of Departments to discuss catering needs.
• Assist with stock control to minimise waste and ensure processes.
• Work with Head/Sous Chef to develop and review the menu regularly.
