Job summary

Metropolitan Gaming is seeking a Chef de Partie for our Manchester venue. You will prepare and present dishes to the highest standard, working with senior kitchen staff to meet exacting specifications. Experience in a kitchen environment is essential, with flexibility to work nights and weekends.

You will report to Head/Sous Chef, ensure stock and hygiene compliance, and help maintain a tidy, efficient station while upholding company standards and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment.
• Able to work nights, weekends and shifts in a 24/7 operation.
• Maintain high standards of food presentation and quality.

Responsibilities

• Report for duty in clean chef uniform.
• Prepare and produce food to high standards per senior staff guidance.
• Monitor stock and report shortages to Head/Sous Chef.
• Ensure proper storage and rotation of food.
• Keep station tidy and hygienic; follow health and safety regulations.
• Support Head/Sous Chef and cover shifts as required.
• Prepare mise en place and assist with equipment maintenance.
