Job summary

Metropolitan Gaming is seeking a Chef de Partie to support our kitchen operations in the United Kingdom. You will prepare and present dishes to high standards and work nights, weekends as part of a 24/7 trading week.

You must have previous kitchen experience and be confident in maintaining hygiene and stock control, while upholding our four service behaviours of On It, Upbeat, Be Nice and Open and Close.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a kitchen environment.
• Ability to prepare dishes to high standards as per senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Report for duty dressed in clean chef uniform.
• Prepare and produce food to the highest standard per Senior Kitchen staff.
• Manage stock shortages and communicate with Head Chef & Sous Chef.
• Ensure proper stock rotation and storage of food.
• Keep station tidy and clean.
• Adhere to food hygiene regulations.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations.
• Maintain mise en place and stock levels.
• Fill in any position or station as required by Head Chef or Sous Chef.
• Check, prepare and supervise preparation of food to high standards.
• Report equipment faults to Head Chef or Sous Chef.
• Maintain confidentiality relating to company matters.
• Lead by example in the four customer service behaviours.
