Job summary

Metropolitan Gaming is seeking a Head Chef to lead the kitchen team across venues in the UK. You will ensure quality, consistency and beautifully presented dishes while upholding food safety, COSHH, HACCP, and Natasha's Law standards. Strong leadership and a hands-on approach are essential.

Responsibilities include managing diverse kitchen teams, maintaining high audit scores, inventory oversight, and coaching staff to develop their skills in a fast-paced, 24/7 environment.

Qualifications

Experience working in a kitchen environment as a head chef or a senior sous chef.
Strong attention to detail and clear leadership skills.

Responsibilities

Manage teams and communicate effectively with the wider management team.
Maintain high cooking standards and ensure quality and consistency.
Demonstrate proficiency with company procedures, health and safety, and food safety; maintain high audit scores.
Be highly organised and capable of multi-tasking under pressure.
Oversee kitchen inventory and stock management.
Coach team members and support their development.
Plan menus and maintain menu offerings.
