Job summary

Meldrum House Hotel in Scotland is recruiting a Chef de Partie for either the main kitchen or banqueting kitchen. You will deliver high-quality dishes for events and services while coaching junior members of the brigade.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate previous experience at Commis Chef or Demi Chef De Partie level.
• Demonstrate previous experience in a hotel or restaurant environment.
• Be self-aware and able to evaluate your own work.

Responsibilities

• The preparation, presentation and service of dishes for a variety of events or services.
• Supervision and coaching of the brigade and kitchen portering team.
• Gaining extensive knowledge of our menus and food offerings.
• Assisting the management team in the control of all food supplies and purchases coming in and out of the kitchen, using date labelling processes.
• Adhere to all food safety and health and safety guidelines.
