Job summary

Connaught Care Collection in Chichester is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our luxury care home kitchen team, delivering restaurant-quality meals that meet dietary needs.

You will work with the Head Chef and Sous Chef, own a kitchen section, mentor junior staff, and uphold strict hygiene and allergen controls.

We offer on-site meals, uniform, DBS checks and ongoing training as part of our supportive, hospitality-led environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar kitchen role.
• Ideally Level 3 in Catering Services, Food Hygiene and HCAPP.
• Passion for cooking and presenting food that looks good and feels personal.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality, nutritious dishes in line with daily menus and dietary needs.
• Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure smooth, efficient service.
• Take ownership of a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring it runs like clockwork.
• Assist in supervising and mentoring junior team members, leading by example.
• Ensure strict adherence to food hygiene, health & safety, and allergen protocols.
• Contribute ideas for seasonal menus and themed events that surprise and delight our residents.
