Job summary

The Inn Collection Group, home to The Wordsworth Inn in Grasmere, is opening a new kitchen and seeking a Chef de Partie to lead a section with passion for quality and service.

You will ensure high standards of food preparation, presentation, and cleanliness, working closely with the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced, food-led operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar Chef de Partie role.
• Strong presentation, attention to detail, and knowledge of food safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee food safety, storage, and compliance with legislation.
• Deliver exceptional food service from start to finish.
• Coordinate with kitchen, front-of-house and management teams.

The Wordsworth Inn in Grasmere is preparing to open its doors, and we're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team and be part of an exciting new chapter from day one. With 55 bedrooms, 196 internal covers and 148 external covers, this is a substantial, food-led operation with ambitious plans, located in the heart of Grasmere.

You'll Fit Right Inn
As Chef de Partie, you’ll be at the heart of our kitchen, ensuring presentation and attention to detail are paramount. With experience in a similar role and a genuine passion for food, you’ll take full responsibility for your section, delivering exceptional food service from start to finish.
You will oversee food safety, storage, and compliance with legislation and company policy, working closely with the team to maintain high standards. Strong communication, time-keeping, and organizational skills are key as you collaborate with kitchen staff, front-of-house, and management teams. You’ll work efficiently under pressure, preparing food items timely and maintaining a clean working station.
