Qualifications

• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language used in the workplace with good communication skills.
• Most tasks are performed in a team environment with the employee acting as a team leader and minimal supervision.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and solve practical problems in varying situations.

Responsibilities

• Taking control of the kitchen when the Executive chef and sous chefs are not present.
• Estimating and communicating daily production needs.
• Responding to guest needs during hours of operation.
• Ensuring internal customers are informed daily.
• Full awareness of all menu items, recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
• Assessing quality control and supporting food cost control.
