San Carlo Group in Leeds is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team. You will prepare and cook dishes in your assigned station, follow recipes and quality standards, and lead junior kitchen staff to maintain smooth service.

Qualifications

• 2 years experience in a similar role.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised and capable of handling multiple tasks.
• A proactive self-starter who can work independently with good judgement and minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking food in assigned kitchen section (grill, pasta, meat & fish, or pastry).
• Adhering to established recipes and quality standards.
• Managing own kitchen section and overseeing junior staff.
• Keeping section clean, organised and equipment maintained.
• Collaborating with kitchen and management to ensure timely service.
• Following food safety and allergens policy.
• Maintaining records of food inventory, prep and waste for own area.
• Treating everyone with respect and staying calm.
