Job summary

Enhance Catering is recruiting for two experienced Chef de Parties to join the catering team at a prestigious boarding school in South West London. You will work alongside the Head Chef in a high-volume operation delivering fresh, high-quality meals to up to 2,600 covers per day.

The role requires strong food hygiene knowledge, the ability to work under pressure, and a collaborative approach. Permanent, 52 weeks per year, 40–42 hours per week with a 5-day rota.

Qualifications

• Experience as Chef de Partie or experienced Commis Chef ready to progress.
• Experience in busy, high-volume catering environment.
• Excellent knowledge of food hygiene and food safety legislation.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
• Experience in education, contract catering or large-scale hospitality environments advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fresh, high-quality meals to a consistently high standard.
• Manage your designated kitchen section efficiently during service.
• Support the delivery of varied, balanced and nutritious menus.
• Ensure excellent standards of food presentation and portion control.
• Maintain compliance with Food Safety, HACCP and Health & Safety regulations.
• Assist with stock management, stock rotation and waste reduction; work collaboratively with colleagues.
• Maintain a clean, organised and compliant working environment at all times.
