Job summary

The Plough Inn in the heart of Oxford is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team. You will cook fresh, seasonal dishes alongside Head Chef, take responsibility for your station and help maintain high standards.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie or CommisChef for a kitchen team.
• Passion for fresh, quality food and learning new techniques.
• Willingness to work as part of a team and take pride in your work.

Responsibilities

• preparing and cooking fresh and seasonal ingredients to a high standard
• working closely with the Head Chef and wider kitchen team
• taking responsibility for your section and maintaining high standards
• helping with preparation, service and maintaining the kitchen clean and organised
• learning new techniques, and contributing ideas to our menu
• following food safety, hygiene and health and safety standards
