Job summary

Wilson Vale is recruiting a Chef de Partie to join our team at an independent school in Worksop. This is a permanent role, 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, from 7am to 7:30pm, with year‑round duties despite a 35-week school year.

You will work with a kitchen team of 12, preparing fresh dishes from scratch, using quality ingredients, and delivering high standards of hospitality to staff and students with a focus on food hygiene and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role and environment.
• Highly organised and able to work in a high-pressured setting.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and health and safety.
• Uphold hygiene and keep areas clean and tidy.
• Excellent customer service and social skills.
• Responsible for food prep and staff serving.

Responsibilities

• Work with the kitchen team to create fresh dishes from scratch.
